Meet the Team
Richard Ladd (MNAEA)
Director
Roost Estate Agents was launched in July 2020 by local Estate Agent Richard Ladd. Learning his trade originally in Manchester and Edinburgh, working in the cities and in Estate Agency now for over 13 years, has opened his mind into different ways a traditional Estate Agents can operate and sell your home. Richard has his Level 3 PropertyMark Qualification in Residential Sales, which coupled with his genuine interest in all things property related, gives him a wealth of experience and knowledge in this sector.
Sophie Ladd (MARLA)
Director/Office Manager
Sophie is the wife of Richard, who has been behind the scenes at Roost since it’s launch in 2020. She studied a degree in Psychology at Durham University which ultimately led to a senior leadership role in a local school. In 2023 she left teaching to become a full time member at Roost, using her leadership skills to develop a new lettings department and oversee management of the office. She achieved her Level 3 qualification in Residential Lettings and Property Management in August 2023 and is an ARLA member of Propertymark.
Ellie Arefi
Sales Negotiator
Ellie joined Roost in July 2022 having previously worked for the local council. Ellie is always on hand to help buyers and sellers, making the sales process as stress free as possible.
Imogen Petchey
Lettings Negotiator
Imogen joined Roost in July 2023 having previously worked in a lettings department and managing a portfolio of over 100 properties. Imogen has excellent knowledge and experience in this sector and is always willing to provide advice and guidance to our landlords.
Fiona Ladd
Sales and Lettings Negotiator
Fiona is the sister of Richard and has been working for Roost not longer after it launched in July 2020. Her customer service skills are a key element to her role and with her positive attitude she is always on hand to help with any daily queries.
Gary Ladd
Viewings Assistant
Gary is Richard & Fionas dad, creating a family company feel. As a viewing assistant he attends properties and shows potential buyers around. He is always happy to help and answer any questions buyers may have.
